This specialized unit focuses on delivering comprehensive oncology services, including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, pain control, blood product administration, palliative support, and patient/family education.A Registered Nurse, RN who excels in this role:Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needsInitiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findingsProvides age- and condition-appropriate nursing careCompletes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical recordDevelops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patientApplicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.One year of experience preferredASLS certification preferredWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
