Assistant General Manager – Baker’s Crust Artisan Kitchen - Restaurant in Virginia Beach Baker’s Crust is looking for an experienced, energetic Assistant General Manager in our Landstown Commons location to help lead our restaurant team and drive both operational excellence and outstanding guest experiences. If you’re passionate about food, hospitality, and building strong teams, we’d love to meet you. This position reports to the General Manager. Salary: $20-25 per hour Job Type: Part-time/Full-time Location: Virginia Beach, VA (Landstown Commons Shopping Center) What You’ll Do As Assistant General Manager, you will help the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations, including: Driving restaurant and catering sales while managing costs to meet budget goals Overseeing financial administration , including invoices, reporting, and payroll tasks Controlling food, beverage, labor, and operating supply costs to maximize profitability Hiring, training, scheduling, and developing team members Maintaining complete and accurate employee records and handling performance management Creating a positive workplace culture and maintaining strong employee relations Ensuring consistent, fair enforcement of company policies and procedures Delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining a professional dining environment Upholding the highest standards for food quality, freshness, presentation, and sanitation Managing inventory, ordering, and proper product handling and storage Training staff on service standards, product knowledge, and suggestive selling techniques What We’re Looking For Qualified candidates will have: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum age of 21 At least 3 years of restaurant management experience (preferred) Strong leadership and team development skills A friendly, professional, and guest-focused demeanor Passion for food and solid culinary knowledge Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Why Join Baker’s Crust We value our team and offer competitive benefits for full-time managers, including: Health insurance programs (for eligible employees) 401(k) plan options Paid Time Off If you’re ready to lead a great team and be part of a restaurant known for quality and hospitality, apply today! #J-18808-Ljbffr Baker's Crust, Inc
