Matrix Basement Finishing is a rapidly growing home remodeling company specializing in high-quality basement transformations. We are expanding our field marketing team and looking for driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, people-first environment.

Position Overview

As a Canvassing / Field Marketing Representative, you will be responsible for engaging with homeowners in targeted neighborhoods, generating interest in our services, and setting qualified appointments (demos) for our sales team. This is a high-energy, performance-driven role with strong earning potential through hourly pay, bonuses, and commissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Canvass assigned neighborhoods to introduce Matrix Basement Finishing services
• Engage with homeowners and build rapport in face-to-face interactions
• Generate and set qualified in-home appointments (demos)
• Accurately input lead information into company systems
• Represent the brand professionally in the field
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation efforts

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $20-25/hour
• Demo Bonus: $50 per qualified demo set
• Sales Commission (2026 Structure):
• 1.5% commission on sales generated from canvassing leads
• 1% commission for shows and events
• 0.5% commission for open house leads

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working outdoors and walking neighborhoods
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
• Ability to handle rejection and stay positive
• Prior canvassing, sales, or customer-facing experience preferred (not required)
