If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply

HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays

• NBO: 16 hrs
• EMR : EPIC
• OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
• Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
• On Call: ***/hr
• Charge/Precept : ***/hr

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Dept will accept each of the following facility type(s) as experience; hospital or medical center or same day surgery and/or outpatient surgery


Common Surgery Types: Myringotomy, Tonsillectomy, Septoplasty, All thing Orthopedic including Total knee, hip, shoulder arthroplasty, Hysterectomy, Thoracotomy, Gastric Bypass, Ureteroscopy, repair, Breast reconstruction, General surgery- chole, appendectomy

PRIMARILY post op / Phase II recovery, with some pre op responsibilities as needed

• minimum of 12 months pre / post op OR same day surgery experience [required]
• Outpatient surgery experience (pre op / Phase II RN) [nice to have]
• NO 1st time travelers, must have at least '1' travel contract in pre/post op, SDS or PACU within the previous 15 mos [required]
• EPIC emr experience [required]
• current/recent pediatric care experience [required]

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

• Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current surgery, pre or post op, same day surgery, or PACU / post anesthesia care experience [required]
• Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (surgery, pre or post op, same day surgery) - [required]
• Nursys must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission - [required] [document]
• Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
• Driver's License [document] [required]
• AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/client BLS - basic life support - [required]
