Supporting the Director of Underwriting Strategy, the full-time remote Senior Underwriting Strategy Analyst will drive portfolio performance, optimize underwriting processes, and advance strategic initiatives through analytics and cross-functional leadership. Key responsibilities Develop and execute underwriting strategies aligned with growth, profitability, and risk appetite goals Conduct advanced data analysis to identify drivers of loss and profitability, providing actionable insights for underwriting leadership Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product development and streamline underwriting workflows Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or a related field 5+ years of experience in underwriting, underwriting strategy, or analytics within the insurance sector Strong understanding of underwriting principles and pricing dynamics Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI Ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies
