Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend Nights

Location: Columbia, Missouri
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM | Friday, Saturday & Sunday

We're seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment on a dedicated weekend ICU schedule. The RN will provide high-acuity care to critically ill patients while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

✅ Requirements
Active Missouri RN License
Minimum 3 years of ICU RN experience
Current BLS/BCLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Strong critical-care nursing and patient assessment skills
Experience caring for high-acuity and critically ill patients
Ability to recognize and respond to rapid changes in patient condition
Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills

Clinical Experience
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
Perform detailed assessments and continuously monitor patient status
Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, hemodynamics, and other critical parameters
Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments according to provider orders
Manage patients requiring complex critical-care interventions
Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Provide patient and family education and support
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech
Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and critical-care standards

No call requirement
Holiday coverage required
Facility may downstaff travelers based on weekly staffing needs
