Security Officer

Security OfficerThe Security Officer ensures a safe, secure healing environment for patients, staff, and visitors; as well as ensuring the protection of property from harm as a result of acts of violations of laws, policy, procedures or regulatory requirements 24 hours a day.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Reports all doors that are left open after hours or unattended officesDirects visitors, patients, vendors to correct locations; distributes passesPerforms unit/building clock tours dailyConducts security rounds for safety violationsReports all hazardous conditions to the proper departmentsMonitors cameras / alarms at command postsInvestigates all (police type) incident reportsPerforms other duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForHigh School diploma or equivalentAbility to complete a Health Care Security and Safety CertificationSORA license (preferred)With 1-2 years related experience, hospital setting (preferred)What We OfferCompetitive pay• Medical, dental, and vision insurance• 401k with Company match• Generous paid time off• Paid Holidays• Tuition Reimbursement• Advancement and career development opportunitiesCarePoint Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
