Job Specifications

• Job Type: Full Time
• Company: Early-stage, innovation-driven Biotech
• Location: Canoga Park, CA and West Hills, CA (on-site)
• Pay Rate: $24.00 to $29.00 per hour
• Shift: Monday - Friday

Roles and Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and verify prescription orders from the Principal Investigator to ensure study validity.
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and study protocols.
• Support pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and labeling investigational products.
• Assist clinical research staff by addressing inquiries and referring complex issues to the Principal Investigator or Pharmacist.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy inventory records to ensure smooth operations for ongoing clinical trials.
• Ensure a sterile and compliant environment for medication preparation and dispensing.
• Follow security and quality control protocols to preserve investigational product integrity.
• Meet all study protocol requirements and deadlines, aligning with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Adhere to all company policies, protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to enable successful clinical research operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required; Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant required.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, clinical research, or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy information systems and prescription processing.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines related to investigational products.
• Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and commitment to compliance.
