Accounting Associate

Description: KURTIS CHEVROLET is in need of an Automotive Accounting Associate to join our team. The excellent candidate will exhibit stellar organizational habits and possess proficient computer skills, a professional and friendly demeanor, and be self directed. If you have a robust knowledge of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining precise financial records, we want to speak with you! Automotive knowledge is preferred but not required. Responsibilities:

• Preparing various accounting statements and reports - Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records
• Manage Accounts Payable process from receiving the invoice to until payment
• Verify and reconcile invoices with purchase orders, etc.
• Ensure timely payment of all vendor invoices and maintain accurate records
• Coordinating accounting matters with other departments
• Utilizing computer to input, retrieve or display accounting information

Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent * Two years experience in accounting * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Experience with Microsoft Office software * Strong acclimation to mathematics and analysis * Proficient in Microsoft Employee Benefits:
