Job Full Description

Order Picker Summary: A state of the art brass hardware company with a 130-year plus history is looking for an Order Picker to join their growing team.

Order Picker Responsibilities:

Packing, labeling, and shipping product from the warehouse
Stage product for shipping and load shipments using the appropriate equipment
Using a cherry picker and forklift to pick and pack orders
Accurately and efficiently process all orders
Utilize a scanning program to process and ship orders
Count accurately to ship the correct quantity of parts
Learn and retain information about different customers, orders, and packing procedures

Schedule & Pay:

1st Shift 7am-3pm Monday-Friday and overtime is required as needed
$17.00/HR-$18.00/HR based on forklift experience

Order Picker Qualifications:

Prior forklift or cherry picker experience is required
Pick and packing experience
Must be able to lift-up to 50 lbs
Able to stand for eight hours and work in a physically demanding environment including bending, stooping, and lifting repeatedly
Strong teamwork and communication skills are needed
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes
