Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing organization to hire a Senior Accountant as part of its expanding Finance & Accounting team. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in overseeing complex accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and supporting leadership with actionable financial insights. Key Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations across multiple entities, including transactional accounting and general ledger maintenance Support consistency and accuracy of accounting practices across entities while helping scale processes to support growth. Prepare journal entries, accruals, and participate in month-end close Prepare financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow Track and analyze costs and profitability across operating entities. Partner with leadership to investigate variances, providing clear financial insights. Assist with internal controls and support internal and external audits Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns and support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements across jurisdictions. Manage fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and reconciliations across entities. Assist with budgeting and forecasting Oversee junior accounting staff including training and mentorship Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong experience with general ledger accounting, job costing, and financial reporting.
