Critical Care/ICU/PICU/NICU Physician Assistant

Acute Care Physician Assistant Mount Sterling, Kentucky Join a close-knit, established acute care team. You'll work alongside two physicians and three advanced practice providers, supported by a dedicated clinical performance nurse, in a collaborative environment that truly values camaraderie-both in and out of work.Many team members live in nearby communities such as Richmond and Lexington, enjoying an easy 30-minute commute and a strong sense of community as neighbors and colleagues.
Q ualifications- Board-certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant
- Background in family or internal medicine preferred
- New PA graduates encouraged to apply - we strongly support early-career clinicians and provide structured training in hospital medicine to foster professional growth
- Flexible scheduling with a strong emphasis on work-life balance

- Manage and treat complex cases in an open ICU, caring for a diverse patient population
- Collaborate closely with hospitalist APPs assisting with admissions and inpatient management under physician supervision
- Participate in monthly team meetings to stay engaged with practice updates, hospital initiatives, and broader goals within Sound Physicians
- Serve as an active member of the hospital community by participating in committees that help shape operations at this small but dynamic facility
