On Premise Sales Representative (Montgomery County)

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Field Sales | On-Premise Sales

Mitchell Companies is looking for a motivated On Premise Sales Representative to manage an assigned territory and achieve sales, distribution, and merchandising objectives across on-premise accounts. This position is responsible for growing product sales, executing promotions, building strong customer relationships, increasing product placements, and developing new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organized sales professional with strong customer service and relationship-building skills who can work independently, manage a daily route, and consistently meet company and supplier objectives.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Daily travel throughout assigned territory
• Occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events and customer needs

What You'll Do

• Achieve assigned sales, distribution, and marketing objectives
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with bars, restaurants, hotels, clubs, and other on-premise accounts
• Sell and execute authorized promotions, programs, and product placements
• Increase product distribution, visibility, and volume within assigned accounts
• Identify and develop new and inactive accounts
• Secure and maintain permanent and temporary POS, displays, and product placements
• Build and maintain strong product presence and merchandising standards
• Monitor account inventory and help prevent out-of-stocks
• Execute supplier and company programs, promotions, and special events
• Submit accurate orders, reports, and required documentation
• Assist with special events, holiday activities, and other account needs as requested
• Maintain and safely operate the assigned company vehicle
• Follow all Mitchell Companies policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) speakers are preferred and encouraged to apply.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong communication, sales, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organization and time management
• Ability to work independently and manage an assigned territory
• Strong sales, problem-solving, and follow-through skills
• Basic proficiency with mobile/tablet-based reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous sales, route sales, hospitality, beverage, or on-premise experience
• Experience working with bars, restaurants, hotels, clubs, or entertainment venues
• Experience managing customer accounts or a sales territory
• Familiarity with sales and merchandising systems

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Employees routinely:

• Lift and move products up to 50 lbs.
• Walk, stand, bend, and stoop during customer visits
• Enter and exit vehicles throughout the workday
• Work in bars, restaurants, hotels, clubs, event venues, warehouses, and refrigerated environments
• Travel daily throughout the assigned territory
• Work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
