Speech Language Pathologist

Speech Language Pathologist AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for the 2025/2026 school year. Requirements: Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or a related field. National and state certifications: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate, and State License from the Department of Health Services. Ability to obtain and hold a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Certifications: BLS (AHA) required. Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education. Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks, stand or sit for extended periods, see and read materials, hear and understand speech, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 40 pounds occasionally. Job Description: Caseload and classroom details vary based on school location. Recruitment specialists will discuss specifics upon application to match your experience and skills. Contract through the 2024/2025 school year, 32 to 40 hours per week, following the academic calendar. Position Overview: Provide speech and language therapy to improve students’ communication and learning skills. Essential Functions: Identify students needing speech or language services and provide tailored interventions. Conduct individual and group therapy, using curriculum-based materials, and provide progress reports. Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and implement communication systems. Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. Assess individual needs, develop personalized solutions, and support curriculum goals.
