Heavy Haul CDL Driver

Role Description The Heavy Haul CDL Driver role at Ethica Solutions LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Minot, ND. The driver is responsible for safely operating heavy haul trucks and specialized trailers to transport overweight and oversized loads, often in varied and challenging weather and road conditions. Daily tasks include conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and monitoring cargo, following route plans and permits, and complying with all federal, state, and local regulations. The role involves close coordination with dispatch, site supervisors, pilot car crews, and other logistics personnel to ensure on-time, safe delivery and adherence to client requirements. The driver is expected to maintain accurate documentation, uphold company safety standards, and represent Ethica Solutions professionally at customer sites. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and experience operating heavy haul or oversize/overweight loads. Proficiency in load securement, including chains, binders, tarps, and other equipment, and familiarity with permits and routing for oversized loads. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and safe driving practices in varied climates and remote locations. Ability to read and follow transport plans, site logistics instructions, and communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and support crews. Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and attention to detail, with a commitment to safety and ethical work practices. Physical ability to perform inspections, secure loads, and work outdoors for extended periods; willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed. Previous experience in heavy haul, specialized transport, construction, or industrial logistics is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
