Our afterhours and weekend emergency hospital offers flexible schedules, giving you 4 days off a week to enjoy all Ocala and the surrounding areas. A successful applicant should enjoy learning new things and can quickly adapt to a changing environment. Expected Salary $20‑$32/hr; Competitive salary based on credentialing and experience Minimum Requirements Veterinary Technician I: High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience Veterinary Technician II: Credentialed veterinary technician Preferred Qualifications Graduation from an accredited veterinary technology program and/or certified veterinary technician Knowledge of animal care and nursing, especially critical care Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Knowledge of equipment and materials used, and their applications Ability to effectively maintain a working environment while in stressful situations Effective communication with employees of various levels and responsibilities Excellent customer service skills Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations involving money Special Instructions to Applicants In order to be considered, you must upload your cover letter and resume.
