The unit emphasizes managed nursing support, manageable ratios, and teamwork for high‑quality patient care. What You’ll Do Provide direct patient care on an inpatient surgical / acute care unit. Manage post‑operative and acute surgical recovery patients. Perform nursing assessments, medication administration, care planning, and implementation. Monitor patient progress and promptly address changes in condition. Collaborate with surgeons, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and care teams. Support discharge planning, patient education, and continuity of care. Maintain accurate EMR documentation and coordinate follow‑up needs. What We’re Looking For Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license. At least 1 year of RN experience preferred in acute care, med‑surg, surgical, post‑op, or inpatient hospital nursing. Strong assessment, documentation, and patient coordination skills. Comfortable in a structured, team‑based inpatient setting. Interest in surgical care, post‑op recovery, and acute adult patients. BLS certification required; other certifications as per unit standards. Schedule / Compensation / Benefits Day shift. Inpatient hospital setting. Compensation: $34-$49 per hour.
