Warehouse Lead

Reports to: Director of Operational Execution

Based at: 10201 S Jackson Rd, Pharr, TX

Type of Employment: Full-Time, permanent, 6-days a week, (Monday – Saturday)

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Act as the day-to-day operations lead and primary point of contact between the warehouse operation and Corporate Headquarters
• Monitor and maintain visibility of all produce inventory and commodities within the warehouse
• Own inventory process, metrics, and actions linked to inventory management
• Ensuring the highest levels of internal customer service to avoid delaying product stability while maintaining inventory accuracy
• Performing urgent reactive / high accuracy count verifications in the warehouse
• Responsible for overseeing receiving & shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of receipts and shipments
• Coordinate and execute pallet de-stacking and re-stacking as required based on customer orders, ensuring the correct product, quantities, and pallet configuration are prepared for shipment
• Determine trends and common patterns to identify root cases of inventory discrepancies
• Escalating grower quality concerns affecting produce and working with commodities, procurement /supply to initiate corrective actions
• Performs QA inspections on inbound and outbound product utilizing the Clarifresh platform
• Guides, train, schedule and delegates base work responsibilities to hourly staff

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience in operations/distribution or related business
• Outstanding organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Outstanding leadership abilities and teamwork orientation
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate with external and internal customers at all levels
• Strong computer skills, with ability to use Microsoft Office, Excel and comfort with systems

Physical Abilities:

• Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
• Must be able to lift material regularly up to 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time
