A-Line Staffing is now hiring a RN Correctional Facility. This will be full time.

RN Correctional Facility Hours

• 1st shift 5am-3pm work Wednesday through Saturday
  Days off Sun, Mon, Tue

RN Correctional Facility Compensation

• The pay for this position is $50.00 an hour paid weekly
• Benefits are available to full-time employees
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees.

RN Correctional Facility Responsibilities

• Perform initial health assessments, intake screenings, and ongoing evaluations of inmates’ physical and mental health status
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and infectious diseases
• Respond to and manage medical emergencies, including trauma, overdose, and acute illness
• Provide triage services and prioritize care based on clinical urgency
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and correctional staff to develop and implement care plans
• Conduct medication pass in a secure and controlled setting following strict procedures
• Perform wound care, infection control, and preventive health interventions
• Educate patients on health conditions, medications, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, correctional standards, and infection control protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow all security procedures while delivering care
• Serve as a liaison between healthcare and custody staff to support a safe environment

RN Correctional Facility Requirements

• Licensed RN
• BLS
• Previous experience in correctional healthcare, emergency, or psychiatric nursing highly preferred, not required
