Job Title: Quality Inspector Job Description

The Quality Inspector ensures that all parts and materials meet established specifications and organizational quality objectives by performing thorough inspections, precise measurements, and accurate documentation. This role focuses on maintaining high product standards through visual and measurement testing, clear reporting, and strict adherence to standard operating procedures in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.

• Execute daily inspection procedures to support organizational quality objectives and ensure consistent product standards.
• Inspect parts and materials to verify compliance with established specifications and quality standards.
• Measure, verify, and analyze product and material data using tools such as tape measures, calipers, and rulers to confirm accuracy.
• Approve or reject materials by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests according to defined criteria.
• Document all quality findings in a clear and organized manner and promptly communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
• Report investigation, testing, and containment results in a concise and timely manner to the appropriate supervisor(s).
• Read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and written instructions to ensure consistent execution of quality processes.
• Use meter reading software and inspection tools to capture and interpret data for quality verification.
• Work safely and effectively around chemicals and in a cleanroom environment while following all required safety and PPE protocols.
• Support production and assembly activities by providing accurate quality feedback and ensuring that only compliant materials move forward in the process.

• Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret tape measures, rulers, and other measurement tools accurately.
• Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and written instructions.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily work activities.
• Comfortable standing for 12-hour shifts on a regular basis.
• Ability to work with meter reading software and basic inspection tools such as calipers and rulers.
• Comfortable working around chemicals in a production or cleanroom environment.
• Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and measurement tests to verify product quality.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting of quality findings.

• Experience in production and assembly environments.
• Familiarity with inspection processes and quality control practices.
• Ability to communicate inspection results clearly and promptly to supervisors and team members.
• Comfort with wearing full cleanroom personal protective equipment (PPE), including bunny suits.
• Willingness to work rotating schedules and extended hours as needed to support production demands.

The role operates in a cleanroom manufacturing environment where employees wear full PPE, including bunny suits, and work around chemicals following strict safety and cleanliness standards. Team members must be open to working 12-hour shifts, with schedules typically running from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on either Sunday–Tuesday (with every other Wednesday) or Thursday–Saturday (with every other Wednesday). The schedule rotates between 36-hour and 48-hour workweeks to meet production needs. Night shifts receive a premium pay rate. The work requires extended periods of standing, consistent use of measurement tools and meter reading software, and adherence to detailed SOPs in a structured, fast-paced production environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Queen Creek, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $21.46/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
