Job Description Quevera is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support mission-critical programs. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and microservices supporting secure, scalable solutions for national security missions. Working alongside a collaborative engineering team, you will develop Python-based microservices, automate cloud infrastructure deployments, implement CI/CD pipelines, and enhance system observability across AWS environments. You'll leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern DevOps practices to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing cloud solutions. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to innovative solutions supporting critical mission environments. Job Responsibilities Build and maintain ECS-based Python microservices that process and serve geospatial data. Develop and support loosely coupled AWS cloud architectures utilizing ECS, OpenSearch, Docker, and AWS Fargate. Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using AWS CDK. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated application deployment. Support cross‑fabric deployments while ensuring compliance with NIST security requirements, ATO standards, and mutual TLS (mTLS) networking. Implement observability solutions using Amazon CloudWatch, telemetry tracing, dashboards, synthetic canaries, and alerting. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and operational performance. Minimum Requirements Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required. Experience supporting production environments within the Intelligence Community (IC). Current SBU and COE accounts. Experience developing Python applications and Python microservice architectures. Experience with AWS services, including ECS, OpenSearch, CloudWatch, and Lambda. Experience with TypeScript. Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK. Desired Skills Experience supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and cross‑fabric security environments. Experience with DevSecOps methodologies. Experience with Docker. Experience with GeoAxis. Experience with data engineering concepts. Experience working with geospatial data and OGC‑compliant APIs. Why Join Quevera?
