Immediate need for a talented Data Engineer. This is a 06 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Sioux City, Iowa (Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $60/hr - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities

• Data Platform & Architecture - Develop strategic roadmaps for enterprise data infrastructure - Design and implement modern data platforms (Client-centric) - Contribute to cloud platform selection and scalability
• ETL / Data Engineering - Design and build complex ETL/ELT pipelines - Re-engineer legacy Guidewire DHIC pipelines - Troubleshoot pipelines including reinsurance and Qlik workflows
• Guidewire Data Integration - Work with data from PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter - Map Guidewire data models to modern warehouse structures
• Collaboration & Delivery - Work with business, reporting and IT teams - Deliver scalable and secure data solutions
• Data Governance & Compliance - Implement data governance and quality controls - Ensure audit-ready and compliant data processes

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

• Key skills; Guidewire, SQL, ET
• 5 years in Data Engineering - Strong Client / Databricks / ETL experience - Strong SQL and data modeling
• Guidewire DHIC experience - P&C Insurance domain experience - Exposure to Qlik or BI tools
• Business Context - Replacing Guidewire DHIC with in-house data platform - Focus on Client and cloud modernization
