Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team at our Patient Service Center located at 2730 South Val Vista Drive, Suite 3-111, Gilbert, AZ 85296.Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm and rotating Saturdays; additional days/hours as neededJob Responsibilities:Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisorsManage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logsMonitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessaryAddress any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful mannerPromote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkersPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent1 or more years of experience as a phlebotomistPreferred Qualifications:3 or more years of experience in a coordinator or lead rolePhlebotomy certification or completed training programCurrent or Prior Labcorp experienceBilingual in English/SpanishAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyAble to pass a standardized color blindness testStrong communication skills; both written and verbalProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionFlexibility to work overtime as neededWe are currently seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to work in a Patient Service Center. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.Phlebotomists/Site Coordinators may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
