Starting Date: Jul 27, 2026 Position Summary The job of Admin Support (Tier 3 204 Day) Elementary is to provide complex and confidential secretarial and administrative support to the school-site principal and other administrators, convey information regarding school functions and procedures, ensure efficient operation of support functions, and coordinate assigned projects and site activities. Reports to: Building Principal Position: 204-day, 7.5 hr./day, Full Time, benefits eligible Salary range: $33,660 - $47,055 (commensurate with experience) Essential Functions Compile data from multiple sources for reports and recommendations. Coordinate projects, meetings, events, travel, and website updates. Maintain manual and electronic records in compliance with guidelines. Monitor activities on behalf of the administrator to meet goals. Monitor student presence to ensure welfare and security. Oversee office work activities and manage assignments. Participate in meetings, workshops, and trainings; record minutes. Prepare confidential and non‑confidential reports, correspondence, and manuals. Present administrative procedures for personnel orientation. Process documents such as time sheets, work orders, requisitions, travel reimbursements, and budget transfers. Procure supplies and materials. Reconcile account balances for assigned budget categories. Research topics, including policies and education codes. Respond to inquiries from staff, parents, students, and agencies. Schedule appointments, meetings, travel reservations, and venue usage. Support assigned administrative personnel. Other Functions Perform related duties as assigned to ensure efficient work unit operation. Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications Skills: Operate standard office equipment and software, plan and manage projects, conduct basic bookkeeping and record keeping. Knowledge: Algebra/geometry, read technical information, compose documents, facilitate discussions, analyze situations; concepts of grammar, basic bookkeeping principles, business telephone etiquette, common office machines. Ability: Schedule activities, gather data, use equipment, work with diverse individuals, problem‑solve, maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, set priorities, work as a team, handle interruptions. Responsibilities Work under limited supervision using standardized practices, direct small work unit members, and monitor budget expenditures. Utilize resources from other units as needed. Impact the organization’s services continually. Work Environment Physical demands: lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, fine finger dexterity; 15% sitting, 15% walking, 70% standing. Conditions may involve moderate to loud noise and exposure to injury or illness risk. Experience & Education Job related experience with increasing responsibility required. High school diploma or equivalent.
