Overview The Global Total Rewards Lead manages the organization’s comprehensive benefits program, ensuring competitive, compliant, and financially sustainable plans while leading a high‑performing team across the benefits, HRIS, and finance functions. This position drives continuous improvement, cross‑functional alignment, and employee engagement in the design, implementation, and administration of all benefit offerings. Responsibilities Administer and oversee the full spectrum of employee benefits, including life, disability, health, 401(k), personal savings, stock purchase, and deferred compensation plans. Maintain benefit census and ensure accurate, timely reporting and fee payments in compliance with government regulations. Serve as primary contact for plan vendors, third‑party administrators, and broker partners; coordinate data transfers and service requests. Develop, review, and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Prepare the annual employee census with the broker, select carriers, and advise on coverage changes. Reconcile benefit accounting and ensure proper funding in collaboration with Payroll, Finance, and Accounting. Assist in policy development, budgeting, and strategic planning for the benefits department. Manage benefit transitions for all mergers and acquisitions. Oversee Open Enrollment and life‑event changes, ensuring compliance with federal laws. Recommend new or improved benefit plans, prepare legal reports, and maintain file compliance. Develop and deliver communication materials for plan changes, announcements, booklets, and employee education. Provide counsel to senior leaders and employees on existing benefits and emerging practices. Guide HRIS system updates related to benefits processing. Lead projects, mentor team members, and allocate resources to meet objectives. Define and track Key Performance Indicators aligned with corporate goals. Coach leaders across performance management, succession planning, employee relations, and compensation. Maintain high employee satisfaction and retention through program development and initiatives. Direct change‑management initiatives, maximize operational performance, and analyze budget variances. Collaborate with external stakeholders and ensure alignment across the organization to drive customer success. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. At least 12 years of benefits experience, including 8+ years in a leadership role. Public‑company experience required. Proven ability to implement and leverage technology to improve benefits administration. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leadership. Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills; proven cross‑functional collaboration. Strategic thinker with business and financial acumen, project‑management experience, and problem‑solving expertise. Demonstrated ability to educate leadership and employees on rewards programs and foster a results‑oriented culture. Knowledge of U.S. and global employment laws and practices.
