Hospice Registered Nurse

Role: Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) (Part-Time) Responsibilities Provide patient care aligned with nursing theories and concepts, ensuring documentation meets reimbursement guidelines. Coordinate physical care with patients, families, physicians, and the hospice team. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and agency personnel at all levels. Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings and quality reviews. Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure in the practice state. Graduation from an approved nursing program with at least two years of clinical nursing experience. Preference for at least one year of hospice nursing experience. Knowledge of home health and hospice care frameworks, nursing practices, policies, procedures, and reimbursement guidelines. Commitment to ongoing education, including 12 hours of continuing education annually. CPR certification. Additional Information Travel as needed, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Engagement in team meetings and quality assurance activities. Background checks and a drug-free workplace environment are required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
