From physical spaces designed for comfort and recovery to advanced therapy technology and amenities like private rooms and transitional apartments, everything is built to enhance patient success—and your ability to deliver excellent care.How you'll contributeA Rehab RN who excels in this role:Administer medications safely, accurately, and based on patient age and clinical condition.Minimize potential for medication errors by following proper medication administration procedures.Assist the RN with initial assessments and patient reassessments per policy.Identify and implement appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments under RN supervision.Deliver care based on patient response to treatment and update the interdisciplinary plan accordingly.Assess and reassess pain; use appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients and families.Perform all patient care tasks in a manner that promotes patient safety and reduces medical errors.Develop and implement individualized teaching plans based on patient and family learning needs.Perform other duties as assigned.Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Additional requirements include:Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred; Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred.Experience: Six months of Medical/Surgical experience preferred.Licenses: Must have a current Pennsylvania or compact state RN license.Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
