Coordinates all activities for the Maintenance function including the regular Preventative Maintenance (PM) planning, scheduling, purchasing and documentation of all work completed to repair, maintain, and improve operation equipment on the Production floor

·         Plan daily maintenance duties and reviews job orders to determine work priorities.

·         Develop all work orders-based job plans and track work orders backlog

·         Schedules repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations

·         Estimating cost of work orders in terms of direct labor, materials required and total cost

·         Compiling equipment information into a job package that is ready for technicians to accomplish each shift; clearly communicating the critical steps in the work process

·         Plans all maintenance work, estimates time, and resources, and schedules all planned jobs

·         Work with MRO/ Procurement to ensure all maintenance parts needed for workorders are purchased and ready

·         Review parts and service proposals to ensure cost-effective value in all purchases with Maintenance and Purchasing Supervisors as requested

·         Requisition tools, equipment and supplies required for maintenance operations

·         Establishes or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules

·         Track and record PM inspections for Press, Weld, and other areas as required

·         Track and record Maintenance Downtime

·         Create Bar Graphs for Top 5 Downtime

·         Help Create Improvement Work orders to support downtime reduction

·         Tracking data to ensure MBO goals are attained.

·         Administrative support for Maintenance Manager and Tooling Manager

·         Track Safety Critical Work Orders to Completion

·         Participate as a Safety Committee Member

·         Particpiate in 5S and Housekeeping, and other continuous improvement activities

·         Complete other duties and tasks as assigned

Education/Experience/Certifications:

Education: 

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, strongly preferred

·         High School Diploma or GED is required

 

Experience:

·         Five (5) or more years of direct Maintenance experience in automotive manufacturing

·         Two (2) or more years of Maintenance planning and/or scheduling experience

·         Strong capability with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·         Ability to use Enterprise Software for planning and purchasing, Plex preferable

·         Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

 

Skills and Abilities :

·         Ability to speak, read, and write in English is required

·         Ability to complete root cause analysis failure reports with cooperation of department teams

·         Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills

·         Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization

·         Strong problem-solving skills
