Job Description
ROLE - SPECIALTY
Registered Nurse - Acute Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine

Schedule
3x12.0 shift, including day, evening, and night shifts; holidays and weekends as per unit policy.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 17 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements
- 2 years of Med Surg experience
- New York State Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Telemetry experience required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in an acute rehabilitation setting.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
- Offer clinical and emotional support to patients and their families to promote recovery and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and manage care for various medically complex conditions.
- Educate patients and families about treatment procedures and post-discharge care.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in patient care.
