Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or employee challenges. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned
- Provide check-in, check-out, and reservation service to all guests and callers.
- Answer all telephones at Front Desk and route calls and/or provide assistance and information to all callers.
- Promote the hotel/casino and all of its services and facilities while maximizing occupancy and ADR.
- Process daily reports, reconciliations, journals, etc.
- Check Bus Groups in and make keys as needed
- Assist in the preparation of commissions for OTA and Travel Agents.
- Handle guest complaints
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Minimum of one (1) year of Front Office Supervisory or related experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (all software components), payroll, and hotel information systems (LMS)
- The primary language spoken is English; ability to read, write, understand and speak English.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
- Food Handler
- Frequently required to stand for long periods
- Use hands to hold tools utilized for position
- Reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
