Position Overview Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – San Marcos Dental and Braces – San Marcos, TX Pay: $17–$20/hr | Full Time (Monday - Saturday) Benefits Employee dental discounts for you and your family Flexible schedule to fit your lifestyle Comprehensive health coverage Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral bonus program Responsibilities Get treatment rooms ready: stocked, sterilized, and set up before each appointment Welcome, seat, and comfort patients so they feel at ease Take clear, accurate X‑rays and keep them up to date Chart procedures, treatment plans, and patient notes accurately Perform coronal polishing, flossing, and fluoride application as directed Reinforce treatment recommendations and educate patients on their care Follow all infection‑control and patient confidentiality protocols Requirements Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification, per state regulations At least 1 year of experience as a dental assistant Current CPR certification High school diploma or equivalent Solid knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Strong computer skills with dental software Knowledge of HIPAA, infection control, and OSHA (training required) A genuine commitment to compassionate, patient‑first care Strong communication and teamwork skills Bonus points for experience with orthodontics, Invisalign, implant surgeries, or iTero scanners If you're passionate about helping patients smile and want to grow with a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!
