Experienced Outside Contractor Sales Representative

An Outside Contractor Sales Representative aggressively grows sales and promotes the Builders Warehouse name. Sales Representative acts as a Builders Warehouse business representative for the building materials distribution channel. Manages accounts and provides customer service.

Responsible for selling Builders Warehouse products to customer base

Promote sales growth and business opportunities for all Builders Warehouse customers

Work with Builders Warehouse customers to advise them of product solutions

Provide business counsel and marketing advice to customers

Provide sales and service support to homeowners in concert with contractors

Support the order fulfillment process by working extensively with inside sales reps, customer service, credit and delivery; Planning

Minimum of five (5) years experience in outside sales

Building industry knowledge required

Bachelor degree preferred

Sales skill training

Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Proven success in a sales territory

Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Attention to detail with strong organizational skills

Excellent customer service skills

Varies from inside office to outdoors at jobsites.

Analysis/judgment, market, product, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills (questioning/probing/listening)

Product and customer knowledge; strategic thinker; aggressive
