Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Physician to provide medical services to adult patients. The primary responsibilities include examining, diagnosing and treating medical illnesses, evaluating health status, initiating therapeutic and preventive measures, and making necessary referrals to specialty and other consultative medical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Render medical services expected of an internist or family practitioner in office practice.
• Carry a patient caseload consistent with quality of care and productivity standards.
• Communicate with other healthcare providers on patients' health needs.
• Complete necessary medical documentation and forms.
• Attend medical staff meetings and conferences.
• Maintain professional competence through continued medical education.
• Participate in teaching and supervising paramedical personnel.
• Assist in peer review chart audits and quality activities.
• Report any problems or unusual occurrences to supervisor.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical School.
• Completion of Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Osteopathic Medicine Residency Program.
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• Licensure to practice medicine in the State of New York with current registration.
• Board Certification Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
