Registered Nurse RN Cardiac Cath Holding CARE unit

Job Location Norfolk, VA Work Shift Multiple shifts available, including Swing Shift 9a-9pm. Position Overview Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Holding Department. Responsibilities include preparing and recovering patients for procedures in the Cath lab, EP lab, Minor Procedure Room, and Cardiac OR. The unit serves 30 beds, operates Monday-Friday 6am-11pm, closed on major holidays, and processes roughly 40-50 patients daily. Responsibilities Prepare and recover patients for Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology procedures, cardiac ablations, cardioversions, surgery, ICDs/Pacemakers, and related procedures. Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process and professional standards. Coordinate care, teach, promote health, evaluate outcomes, and adhere to ethical, culturally congruent practices. Qualifications Registered Nursing license in Virginia or eligible under the Compact/Multi‑State program. Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Diploma (required); Bachelor of Science in Nursing or MSN preferred. 1+ years bedside nursing experience; telemetry/cardiac experience preferred.
