Medical Assistant - Clinic

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant positionto support our clients in the medical facility. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Medical Assistant Position

Location: Kissimmee, FL
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Number of hours- 40 Hours/ week


Pay - $20/Hr on W2 to $23/hr on W2

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations according to office procedures
• Accurately document patient information and care in the medical record
• Coordinate patient care following physician instructions and company policies
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide professional customer service
• Organize, stock, clean exam rooms, and sterilize instruments
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Perform patient intake and gather information via phone and in person
• Support HEDIS reporting and data tracking activities
• Process referral authorizations and DME requests
• Perform additional administrative and clinical duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Certification required
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Intermediate computer and Excel skills
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
• 1-2 years of customer service or medical office experience
