Job Description - Clinical Director (226 Days) (RTP20260617-030) Job Description Clinical Director (226 Days) - ( RTP20260617-030 ) Description Lead regional implementation and clinical operations of school-based mental health, substance abuse, and behavioral health services across campuses. Translate district strategy into measurable regional outcomes, ensuring alignment with student achievement, engagement, and safety goals. Provide clinical supervision, evaluation, and coaching to school-based clinicians and Substance Abuse and Crisis Clinician teams, ensuring high performance and accountability. Establish and monitor clinical performance metrics, productivity standards, and service delivery expectations for all assigned staff. Oversee the full clinical service delivery continuum, including referral, intake, assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and follow-up care. Ensure fidelity to evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards. Monitor clinical documentation, EMR utilization, and service quality to ensure compliance, accuracy, and audit readiness. Direct implementation of substance abuse programming, including prevention, early intervention, and recovery supports. Analyze program data and outcomes to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic and operational decisions. Lead crisis response efforts, including risk and threat assessments, safety planning, stabilization, and post-crisis recovery. Design and implement professional development and training to build staff clinical capacity and ensure licensure and CEU compliance. Collaborate with district departments (e.g., Counseling, SEL, Special Education, MTSS) and campus leadership to coordinate student supports. Develop and maintain partnerships with community agencies, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders to expand service access. Oversee care coordination, external referrals, and transition planning to ensure continuity of care for students and families. Ensure compliance with all policies and regulations (HIPAA, FERPA, Medicaid, licensing) while managing reporting, resources, and operational Qualifications Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required. Ph.D. from an accredited university preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mental health services, including leadership or supervisory experience required. Experience working in a school-based or youth-serving environment. Two or more years of direct experience with adolescent substance use and co-occurring disorders preferred. Knowledge of adolescent development, mental health trends, and substance use prevention. Strong clinical leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data and implement data-driven decisions. Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to equity, culturally responsive practices, and student centered services. Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to mental health services (HIPAA,FERPA, Medicaid). Demonstrated knowledge of crisis intervention, risk assessment, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
