About the Role

U.S. Nursing College is seeking an experienced Senior Admissions Officer / Registrar to oversee the student admissions process and manage official academic and enrollment records. In this role, you will independently guide applicants from first inquiry through enrollment, safeguard the accuracy and confidentiality of student records, and work closely with academic and administrative teams. We are looking for a seasoned professional who can run a high-volume admissions pipeline with minimal supervision.

Compensation & Benefits

• $25.00/hour during the 6-month probationary period

• $28.00/hour after successful completion of probation

Responsibilities

Admissions

• Manage the end-to-end admissions and enrollment process, from initial inquiry through enrollment

• Review and evaluate applicant qualifications, academic records, and required documentation

• Conduct applicant interviews and provide clear guidance on admissions and enrollment requirements

• Monitor application status and follow up on incomplete or pending requirements

• Address admissions-related concerns, discrepancies, and documentation issues professionally

• Coordinate with academic and administrative teams for a smooth enrollment process

• Prepare admissions and enrollment reports for management

• Help improve admissions procedures, workflows, and student service practices

Registrar Duties

• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential student records

• Process enrollment, registration, and student status changes

• Verify and maintain transcripts, credentials, and supporting documentation

• Ensure records comply with institutional policies and applicable regulations

• Prepare and issue transcripts, enrollment verifications, and other official documents

• Support academic scheduling and class rosters in coordination with faculty and administration

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

• 3–5+ years of professional admissions, registrar, or student records experience, preferably in a college, university, nursing school, or healthcare education institution

• Demonstrated expert-level knowledge of admissions, enrollment, and records management processes

• Extensive experience in applicant screening, qualification assessment, documentation review, interviews, and enrollment coordination

• Proven ability to independently manage multiple applicants and a high-volume admissions pipeline

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

• Ability to handle confidential student information with professionalism and discretion

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Preferred

• Previous experience in nursing, healthcare, allied health, or vocational education

• Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS), admissions platforms, CRM systems, or enrollment management software

• Familiarity with U.S. higher education admissions and records practices, including FERPA

• Experience working in a fast-paced educational environment
