Phlebotomist - Float

We are seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Lexington, Kentucky. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other screenings. Enter patient information accurately and within a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least one year of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient laboratory environment. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program if no prior experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Must pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record with reliable transportation. At least 21 years of age. Benefits Float incentive: Additional $2.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. Participation in the PST Incentive Plan (quarterly bonus based on performance metrics).
