Title
Labor and Delivery Nurse - LDRP

Schedule
Shift: Nights 18:45-07:15

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13-26 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience required
- Traveler experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, AWHONN, NRP
- Preferred: Epic experience

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide couplet care for mothers and neonates in a LDRP setting.
- Perform external and internal fetal monitoring and recognize/treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
- Conduct sterile vaginal and speculum exams to assess effacement, dilation, and station.
- Assist in circulating and supporting during Cesarean sections.
- Offer breastfeeding/lactation support and perform newborn assessments.
- Provide basic neonatal care, including thermoregulation and recognition of hypoglycemia.

Compliance / Notes
- Call: Required - 2 mandatory call shifts per 6-week schedule
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Orientation: 32 hours
