Structural Welder/Fabricator
$25 - $30 per hourMetalStorm Inc
Welder/Fabricator Utilize MIG for welding structural steel. Finish parts (straighten, grind, polish, wipe down, etc.) per spec on print or lead’s instruction. Read and interpret customer drawings. Produce quality, error free parts with precision on customer specifications. Review traveler/prints to determine what needs to be fabricated/welded. Read blueprints, tape measure, and caliper. Double check parts to spec before and after fabricating, then have another approved person check. Be able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment while completing jobs in allotted time frames. Have great communication skills and be detail oriented. Experience: Must have welding/fabricating experience. At least 1 year of blueprint reading. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, & bending. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. All personal protective equipment must be worn where necessary (i.e. safety glasses, shoes, etc.) Education: Welding Certification (preferred) Salary: Starting at $25- $30/hour (based on knowledge and experience) Schedule: 8-10 hour shifts Monday-Friday Daytime Benefits: Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Health Savings Account 401k with Match Company Paid Short-Term Disability & Life Insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr MetalStorm Inc
