Hospitalist Physician

An established healthcare organization in New York City is seeking a Hospitalist for a promising opportunity with their team in Brooklyn. About the Opportunity: Shift: Day shift Schedule: Wednesday to Tuesday (even other week or one week in 4) Hours: 8am to 7pm Setting: Inpatient hospital Responsibilities: Provide hospitalist coverage for inpatient and emergency department patient care Manage floor teams with resident support and oversee patient volumes as assigned Round on patients in the morning and participate in interdisciplinary team discussions Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, residents, and care teams to coordinate treatment plans Document patient assessments, progress, and care decisions accurately and in a timely manner Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible physician in Internal Medicine or a related specialty Experience providing Hospitalist or Inpatient Medicine Care Ability to work a seven-day coverage block on the assigned schedule Strong clinical judgment and communication skills in a hospital-based setting
