Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care in a Stepdown/Med Surg Overflow/Neuro unit. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to trauma and travel experience requirements.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information thoroughly in electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Assist with patient assessments and perform necessary bedside procedures.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license in the state or a compact license aligned with NLC guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in critical care or stepdown units.
  
  
• 
  Have completed at least one prior travel assignment.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or similar large hospital setting.
  
  
• 
  Be capable of working day shifts (3x12 hours) with flexibility for occasional on-call and weekend duties.
