Senior Generalist, Human Resources

Position Summary The Sr. HR Generalist provides recruiting and selection, training and development, employee relations, and cultural development advice to departmental leaders, serving as a strategic partner who uses workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends and recommend initiatives that support business objectives. Essential Functions Strategic Partnership and Workforce Analytics Analyzes and interprets HR metrics such as turnover, retention, hiring, and AAP data to identify trends, inform leadership decisions, and launch targeted initiatives. Builds consultative partnerships with sales and operational leaders to align HR initiatives with business objectives. Performance Management and Employee Relations Educates and consults leadership on the Performance Management process, Talent Management Suite, and employee relations. Responds to, investigates, and determines the course of action for employee complaints. Learning and Development Educates leaders on GFS Leadership Development initiatives and facilitates training. Utilizes TMS and LMS to manage learning and development activities. Compensation and Benefits Understands GFS compensation practices and assists with annual compensation changes, bonus payouts, and benefits enrollment. Absence Management Manages Workers Compensation, short/long-term disability, and FMLA processes. Other Duties and Assignments Performs administrative HR functions, exit interviews, and other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills. Thorough understanding of GFS culture, policies, and employment‑related laws and regulations. Knowledge of current trends and developments in HR. Ability to analyze workforce data and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Demonstrated ability to build consultative partnerships with operational leaders. Ability to develop solutions to a variety of moderate‑scope problems. Exercises judgment within established policies and practices. Understanding of affirmative action plans and EEOC compliance. Qualifications Four or more years of HR generalist experience with advanced knowledge of employment law and regulatory agencies. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field. Experience with Google Workspace, MS Office, and related desktop applications. Ability to work onsite five days a week. Benefits Affordable benefits plans start day one.
