This program is a comprehensive career accelerator program designed to give behavioral health team members the career guidance, one-on-one coaching, and financial assistance they need to reach their full potential.403(b) plan with employer match/contributionEmployee Assistance ProgramKey Responsibilities:Implement the daily operation of the assigned residence and function as shift leader in the absence of the RM.Assist in the planning and carry out of ISP/IPP Plans.Maintain mandated CT DDS medication certification and will dispense medication as assigned.Ensures all required documentation is completed, which includes, but is not limited to, daily logs, MyAvatar, staff communication logs, data collection, bed checks.Responsible for resident clothing and property inventories.Complete client/house money ledgers as spending occurs in conjunction with the RMComplete wage spreadsheet and banking as pay checks are received in conjunction with the RM.Supervise and assist with house meals.Location: Washington, CTSalary: Starting at $23.50 hourly (commensurate with education and experience)QualificationsAssociate degree or higher degree (BS/BA) preferred. High School diploma/GED required1 year of relevant experience preferred.Have a valid CT Drivers License.Be flexible, patient, energetic, and creative.Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.Have a strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.Physical Requirements:Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend, and move throughout the workdayAbility to lift, push, pull, or assist with up to 70 pounds as neededAbility to assist with emergency responses, including evacuations or crisis situations.Company OverviewDevereux is one of the nation's largest nonprofit organizations, providing services, insight and leadership in the evolving field of behavioral healthcare.
