Sharkey's Cuts for Kids — the #1 children's salon franchise and over 200 locations — has opened a salon in Westwood right next to Lambert's grocery store. Come meet our stylists and ask them what working here is like!
We are local owners who believe in taking care of the people who take care of our clients. We create a salon where stylists actually love to come to work. Smiles and a positive attitude are a must, and we treat all our team members like family!
Compensation & Benefits:
- $30-$45/hour including tips ($17-$22 base pay, full-time and part-time available)
- 100% of tips, paid to you instantly after service via Tippy, not pooled
- Guaranteed yearly raise
- Commission on all retail sales (including toys)
- 401(k) retirement plan
- 7 days PTO/year (accrues from day 90, maximum increases over time)
- MA Earned Sick Time from day 1

What you'll do:
- Provide kids' haircuts in a fun environment
- Help children feel comfortable, adapt to their needs, and communicate clearly with parents.
- Keep your station clean and your tools ready
- Recommend retail products
- Be part of a team that genuinely enjoys working together
Requirements:
- Love for kids and high-energy family environments
- Active Massachusetts cosmetology license. Aesthetician and nail licenses do not qualify.
