CNC Machinist

Nexus Employment Solutions Plus is hiring CNC Machinists and Manual Lay Operators in the Danville, IL area. Candidates must have previous hands-on experience in CNC machining and/or manual lay operations. Pay & Schedule Full Time Monday–Friday 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Starting Pay: Approximately $24/hour Responsibilities Operate CNC machinery and/or perform manual lay operations Set up and operate equipment safely and efficiently Read and follow job specifications, measurements, and work instructions Measure parts accurately and maintain quality standards Monitor equipment and production processes Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience with CNC machining and/or manual lay operations required Strong mechanical and manufacturing skills Ability to read and follow measurements and work instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable attendance and ability to work independently Willingness to complete a hands-on skills test as part of the interview process Interview Process Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a hands-on test during the interview to demonstrate their CNC machining and/or manual lay experience.
