Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a diverse caseload.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival to ensure timely and appropriate care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations, providing life-saving interventions as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in emergency nursing.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required (substitutions accepted with pending status).
• Current flu vaccine and 2-step PPD testing completed.
• Proficiency in using EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to work night shifts (3×12 hours) in a busy trauma environment.
