Lead the end-to-end software architecture, design, and development of high-performance server platforms, establishing technical direction and defining the goal for high-impact projects.Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and system engineering teams to drive pre-silicon Firmware (FW)/Software (SW) co-development, optimize integration, and align cross-organizational roadmaps with overall business goals.Own the delivery of comprehensive software solutions—spanning FW, BIOS, Kernel, and drivers—ensuing rigorous testing, deployment, and long-term maintenance of large-scale systems.Influence, mentor, and coach a distributed team of engineers, fostering a collaborative culture of continuous innovation, technical excellence, and professional growth.Manage project priorities, deliverables, and timelines while facilitating absolute clarity across multiple teams to ensure seamless execution on high-impact objectives.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in software development.5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.5 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.3 years of experience with software design and architecture.Experience with C and C++.Preferred qualifications:Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.Experience with Kernel and Kernel Drivers.Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
