Lead Admissions Recruiter

Job Summary The Lead Admissions Recruiter is a full‑time exempt position responsible for planning, executing, and promoting large‑scale recruitment events to support San Juan College’s enrollment goals. The role includes campus tours, outreach to prospective students, and coordination of recruitment materials and data reporting. Evening and weekend work may be required. Essential Duties Visit area high schools and community organizations to recruit students and promote San Juan College. Coordinate and conduct campus tours and large‑scale recruitment events such as college fairs and community outreach events. Engage with prospects during outreach campaigns and track prospective student interest. Assist the Admissions Director in planning, developing, and executing strategic recruitment initiatives. Process prospect cards, student applications, required documents, and high school transcripts. Maintain and update social media and web content platforms. Collaborate on recruitment marketing strategies, including CRM campaigns, social media engagement, and communication planning. Develop logistics, communication plans, and post‑event follow‑up strategies. Track and report recruitment data and event outcomes to inform continuous improvement. Build and maintain partnerships with high schools, community organizations, and internal departments. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Two to three years of experience in recruitment, admissions, or a related field. Experience with basic recruitment and enrollment principles. Valid driver’s license issued by the State of New Mexico (own vehicle or rental required).
