Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract role supporting students aged 5-22 as a school-based Occupational Therapist this extended and traditional school year. This position will engage you in meaningful work near Lancaster, CA, beginning June 15th, 2026. The weekday schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM offers consistency and balance as you make an impact across both ESY (Extended School Year) and NSY (Normal School Year) programs.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings
• Background supporting students with a wide range of needs, including those exhibiting severe behaviors
• Familiarity with IEP goals, specialized interventions, and collaborative care in multi-disciplinary teams
• Adaptive communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Proven ability to manage time efficiently across multiple caseloads and groups

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students ages 5-22 in alignment with their IEPs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress
• Equip teachers and paraprofessionals with strategies to support students’ sensory, motor, and engagement needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute skilled input to assessment and planning
• Foster students’ independence and functional skills in classroom, community, and vocational settings
• Provide consultative support and contribute to a proactive, positive learning environment
